PennTRAIN Online Training PennSCORE and PSP Trainings

This training is available to all Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Grantees and their transportation providers….free of charge!!!

The Pennsylvania Innovative Leadership Development Program aims to effectively train leaders and managers to proficiently guide transit agencies into the future. In a climate where public funding becomes increasingly scarce, it is important to have in place effective leaders and managers who balance available funding and actively seek ways to improve their transit system.

Our new training program offers online training and instructor-led training in three tracks:

COMPLETE TRACK 1 & 3 TO BE A PENNSCORE GRADUATE
COMPLETE TRACK 1 & 2 TO BE A PSP GRADUATE

TRACK 1 – CORE TRAINING
ONLINE TRAINING

This is a pre-requisite course for other tracks but a great core training for all employees. The online program includes Communication Skills 101, Customer Service 101, and an introduction to the transit industry, Transit 101 and more.

TRACK 2 – PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISOR/MANAGER TRAINING
ONLINE TRAINING AND INSTRUCTOR LED TRAINING

INSTRUCTOR LED TRAINING TBA January/February 2015 IN STATE COLLEGE

An online and instructor-led training designed for supervisors and managers. Topics include supervisory skills, managing employees, conflict resolution, performance measurement processes, and more. (Track 1 must be successfully completed prior to enrollment in Track 2.)

TRACK 3 – PENNSCORE TRAINER

For those individuals who want to become trainers within their organizations, Track 3 contains an instructor development program that teaches the concepts necessary to be an effective trainer. (Track 1 must be successfully completed prior to enrollment in Track 3.)
