PennTRAIN offers two national-award-winning training programs

FOR TRANSIT OPERATOR TRAINERS

TransitSCORE is a series of workshops that raise the bar in transit training. This is where drivers get the skills and the information they need to provide service that's Safe, Courteous, On-Time, Reliable, and Excellent. You'll also develop the recruiting and training skills to operate your own training programs for your transit system. FOR NEWLY-PROMOTED SUPERVISORS AND MANAGERS

Congratulations. Your promotion means the company has noticed your hard work and identified you as a leader. It's a great step in your career. But if you want to keep moving up, if you want to take your skills to the next level, then our Professional Supervisor Program was designed just for you. It's advanced training for that'll teach you new tools and approaches to supervision and leadership. Get all the details and see what some "graduates" have to say.

PennTRAIN is currently re-routing but we're still on the right track!

Through an opportunity offered by the FTA, PennTRAIN is working with PennDOT and the Dering Consulting Group to transform our award winning PennSCORE and PSP programming. Building upon our strong 20-year foundation, our new programs will feature cutting edge web-based training and streamlined on-site sessions designed to maximize learning in this changing environment where resources are becoming increasingly scarce.

Our new PennTRAIN Committee, under the leadership of newly appointed Chairman John Kanyan (IndiGO), will contribute to the development of programming to assure the training needs of Pennsylvania's public transportation professionals are being met. Our target date for implementation of our new programming is scheduled for the summer of 2012. In the meantime, view the programs that are scheduled in the coming months.
